Workplace arrangements with employees such as existing benefits, incentives, and loyalty are very important. This is where Corporate Superannuation assists. We educate employers on Compulsory Super as a benefit, not an additional tax, and including this benefit in salary package.

For Employees

Depending which industry or award you work under, Super Choice (Introduced 1st July 2005) means you are able to choose the super fund into which your employer's Superannuation Guarantee (SG) contributions are paid. There are a number of factors you should think about before acting on Choice and appointing a super fund:
Is it a complying fund?

  • Does it offer a wide range of investment options?
  • Does it have competitive fees and have a history of competitive returns?
  • Does it provide a suite of associated products and services?
  • Does it offer dedicated member services such as adviser assistance, online information (including member education), telephone support, direct mail outs, etc.

Also consider:

  • How your super savings fit into your overall financial planning strategy; or
  • How you can benefit from the portability rules; or
  • Whether your existing fund actually already provides you with everything you need.
